I gotta go, and it's ONLY the 6TH Inning

What a blessing it is to have YouTubeTV app.  When your friend who owns a local restaurant and needs some help and hits you up to come in and work, with the YouTubeTV app, it makes it easier to say, "yes."  Yes I will come in and work even though the Detroit Tigers are playing in a deciding game 3 of the the AL Wild Card series.  Yes I will be continuing to watch the game on my phone.  Again, what a blessing the YoutubeTV app is.  Oh, and if you're reading this, and you know what restaurant I'm working at this evening, come on in and I'll buy your side if you mention this blog.  I'll be there until 7.

With the exception of the 8th inning in yesterdays game, wow, this series has had an incredible lack of scoring.  The Detroit Tigers took a 1-0 lead in the top half of the third on a Kerry Carpenter double...anddddd then with runners on second and third, Spencer Torkelson struck out to end the inning.  The theme of this series for the Tigers is, "Runner Left On Base."  They left 15 runners on yesterday!

...and in the 4th inning, they stranded two more runners bringing their total for todays game to 5.  Yikes!  In the bottom half of the 4th, the Cleveland Guardians tied the game up at 1-1.   George Valera led off the inning with a double and then scored on a Jose Ramirez single, who was then thrown out attempting to steal second.  The Tigers got out of the inning with an easy double play and I gotta go in about 23 mintues.

Tigers strand another runner in the 5th.  16 minutes and I gotta go.

Welp, with the score knotted up a 1-1, heading to the 6th, I gotta go.  Remember, if you come by the restaurant I'm working at this evening and mention this post, I'll buy your side! 🌯🥑🧀🥗🌮
